We are seeking an experienced and passionate Forwards Coach to join our rugby union team for the upcoming 25/26 season. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated coach to work with a talented group of players, helping to develop and enhance their skills, particularly in the forward pack.

?? Role: Part-Time Rugby Union Forwards Coach.

?? Season: 2025/2026

?? Bournville RFC Avery Fields Birmingham B17 8DT

? Hours: Part-time, training sessions + match days

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on the technical and tactical development of the forward pack, including scrummaging, lineouts, mauls, and breakdown work.

• Assist in planning and delivering high-quality training sessions.

• Work closely with the Head Coach and wider coaching team to develop team strategies.

• Provide individual player feedback and development plans.

• Contribute to fostering a positive and competitive team environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience coaching rugby union, particularly within the forwards unit.

• Strong understanding of set-piece play, breakdown work, and forward pack strategies.

• Ability to communicate effectively and inspire players.

• Relevant coaching qualifications (RFU Level 2 minimum, Level 3 desirable).

• Passion for player development and a team-first ethos.
