Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the strategy for the rugby programme, including operational management, recruitment, financial oversight, and coach development.
- Lead the men’s and women’s rugby pathways, ensuring the athletic and academic development of student athletes.
- Manage a team of coaches, fostering a high-performance culture across all aspects of the programme.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external partners, to enhance player experience.
- Oversee the recruitment of top-quality players and ensure the alignment of the rugby programme with Hartpury's vision and values.
- Develop a challenging and competitive playing programme, ensuring player feedback and development.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in rugby management and leadership, with a track record of success.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with key stakeholders and represent Hartpury externally.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and drive commercial success.
- Passion for rugby, education, and player development.
